Understanding carpets

Learn about reeds, density, dimensions and colour. Contact our team for details about a specific design.

What does reed count mean?

Reed count is the number of knots across one metre of a machine-made carpet. A 700-reed carpet has about 70 knots across 10 cm. A higher count generally allows finer pattern detail.

How do reeds and density differ?

Reeds describe the weave across the width; density relates to the length. Density conventions depend on the weave structure, so compare the manufacturer specifications for each product. These numbers alone do not determine quality or durability.

How do I choose dimensions?

Measure your room and furniture layout first. Common dimensions such as 2×3 and 3×4 metres are examples only; confirm the dimensions offered for each design with our team.

How can I ask about a design?

Quote the design code or share its page link when contacting us. The WhatsApp button on each page prepares a message about that design.

Will the colour match the photo?

Lighting and display settings can affect the colours you see. Contact our team to confirm the actual colour and details before making your final selection.
